In the past few days I've been getting these unresponsive script errors. When the message pops up it freezes/crashes FF. Any response to the script dialog box is not actionable.

Before you tell me to this or that here is what I have done .. uninstall/reinstall FF run in safe mode uninstall/reinstall Flash uninstalled problem plug ins such as Google toolbar I increased the script time setting to 20, from 10

None of this makes any difference. I still get unresponsive script errors and every time they freeze and crash FF.

My machine is particularly "clean" and also during these problems I have scandisked and defragged.

There are two problems at work here .. first there is something that is making the scripts run slower in this version. Second there is a bug in the unresponsive script routine that freezes/crashes FF.

BTW, every time this occurs my memory use spikes to over a gig. I have submitted crash reports, etc. This is beyond frustrating, and a new phenomenon to me, a loooong time user of FF.
