From one moment to the other Firefox is completely de-installed from my desktop. The profile files are still there. How come?

Yesterday when I started my desktop it seemed that Firefox was completely disappeared/uninstalled. Not because of an action of myself. The profile files are still there. Of course I can download the app again, but before doing so I would like to know if there is reason for this.

Suggestion: Download the app to a safe location. Then Copy it to your apps.

I called for more help.

Start the browser. Close it. Wait a bit. Is the browser still there?
