I have been happily using Thunderbird for a few years. It handles 3 IMAP address and one Microsoft (outlook) Something changed in the last 3 days or so.

My outlook.com email now sends out 2 copies of an email and receives 2 emails from other people.

Also before I was able to set outgoing stmp settings for each of the 3 email addresses that aren't Microsoft.

Now the Settings only allow me to set up two of those at a time. If I add the third one it erases a previous one. This is not critical as I am able to send emails from all three of those addresses.

Any help regarding the doubles appreciated.
