Hi,

I guess I'm a heavy FF user - use it everyday and a lot - eg closed a window last night that had 48 tabs in it.

my Firefox Profile is 2.79 Gb. It doesn't appear to be causing problems but before I try the Refresh option - I'm wondering if this is excessive?

I'm using FF 38.0.5 with ~40 extensions and plugins on Mac OS X 10.10.4 with 10Gb RAM

Thanks. It's the Main (user) Profile Folder found in /Users/xvz/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/abcdefgh.default

I checked about:config and the largest cahce size is ~350Mb

But it seems the culprit is Zotero which is also storing it's data in the profile folder and is ~2 Gb.

Is that the main profile folder or the location used for the disk cache?

See the about:cache page for the location of the latter. You can also check the bookmarkbackups folder in the main profile folder.
