Obsah revize
Cookies are small files websites leave on your phone so they can remember your site preferences or track your browsing activity. Sometimes, a website will show content from a third-party website (for example, “Like” buttons from Facebook, ads or embedded videos) and those other websites might leave a cookie too.
Firefox Klar does not block cookies by default. Here’s how to turn on the cookie blocker for all or just third-party cookies.
- Tap the menu button at the top right corner.
- Tap .
- Scroll down to the Privacy section and tap Block cookies.
- Choose Yes to block all cookies or Block 3rd-party cookies only. Firefox Klar will save your selection and close the menu prompt.
Note
Blocking all cookies: This prevents trackers, but it will also keep websites from remembering anything you’ve told it (for example, you will be asked to click the “Submit” button over and over again).
Blocking third-party cookies: This blocks third-party trackers, but some websites rely on features that load from other domains. Parts of the page (for example, embedded videos or commenting tools) might not work properly.
Blocking third-party tracking cookies: This blocks third-party tracking cookies from known tracking domains, which avoids unexpected breakage from the more aggressive settings while still preventing the user from being followed across multiple websites.
