Hi all,

We use a service integration in our organization that only works in the latest ESR version of Firefox (140.14). The latest regular release breaks our integration due to added security policies preventing the software from communicating with Windows services.

After installing the ESR version and disabling auto updates in the settings and adding the DisableAppUpdate registry key, the software still keeps updating to 154 (not the ESR version). I've also chosen to not install the Mozilla Maintenance service when installing the ESR version. I can't seem to find any support articles of people having the same issue. Is there something I may be missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since May 21st, I am now on Firefox installer 15. That's a lot of interruptions in three months. Can you please explain? Not that it's difficult or time consuming now that I readily understand, just happens when I have least time! Also means I have to open Chrome, which seems perverse. Thank you.

It is not a problem, but I would like to know why did my Firefox app (phone) change its logo and name to "Firefox Preview". Was it me that accidentally activated it?

Why does my office desktop Firefox version update every 2 or 3 time I start my browser? I click on browser and a popup box tells me its updating. The updates are short, 15 to 30 seconds and then the browser opens and runs normally.

When I download an update and restart firefox, it opens a https://www.firefox.com/en-US/whatsnew/ tab. I want it to not do this.

Hello, my laptop is a HP envy, 64 bit operating syste, x64 based processor. I have Windows 11 Home 25H2 version. Right now I have Firefox extended Support release, 115.390ers (64-bit) and my google email says this is not supported, also some of my credit cards websites won't let me use Firefox either. But I have Windows 11 so I don't understand why it keeps saying I have Window 8. I would like to update to the new version of Firefox that is normal for Windows 11 Thank you for your help. My start menu is multi-level and sorted. The latest Firefox (154.0) adds a NEW start menu entry for itself at the "programs" level when launched even though it is already entered at a sub-level. This is a NEW problem since earlier versions did not do this. How can I stop this since it confuses and messes up my start menu. OS - Windows 10 with current patches. Using "Classic Menu" to provide better support for multi-level menus.

I have had a problem the last few months with my power/sleep settings in Windows being reset to "Never" and it appears to happen when I get Thunderbird updates. Have I done something incorrectly?

140.13.0esr

I've often wondered what the point of 'extended support release' (I think) really means. It sounds retrograde. Should I switch/upgrade?

On my Ubuntu computer, I find that the New Tab extension does not update like in my Windows computer.

Does the extension update at the same time as on Windows? Is there a way to make Firefox update the extension since going to Extensions does not appear to do that for this extension like those I have installed myself?

Your last update included a Yahoo signup splash screen. Please remove it in the next update. It is annoying and does not serve any purpose other than ccnect me to Yahoo web mail. If I wanted to use that service, I sign in for it. I am content with using Thunderbird. Or at least give me the option of removing it myself. Thanks.
