Bonjour, je voudrais importer les contacts de mon compte Gmail dans ma messagerie Thunderbird, le fichier des contacts Gmail est au format .csv Comment faire pour que ce fichier soit totalement exploitable pour créer le carnet d'adresses au niveau de Thunderbird ? Faut-il convertir le fichier contacts.csv de Gmail pour retrouver un carnet d'adresses valide de la même façon qu'il est exploité au niveau de mon compte Gmail ? Merci infiniment pour toute solution. Mon système d'exploitation est Windows 11 et le logiciel Thunderbird est à la version 128.5 Joël GRIVET

I just updated to the latest Thunderbird version 128.5.0esr, Build ID 20241125170630 and after relaunching, all the email in my Sent folder is gone.
Running on a Windows 10 machine. Can someone explain or help guide & restore my old Sent folder?

I am unable to connect to TELUS email which is operated by Google. The unit is a new SAMSUNG Tablet 9A and is owned by a friend. I installed Thunderbird for Android on the unit. I cannot set it up because it requires OAuth2 Authentication and it is not available within the TB for Android. I use TB on many units using Linux and they work fine.
I do not want to use Gmail client but maybe I have to. Is there anyone aware of how to solve this problem so I can set him up with TB, which I prefer? Robert

I am with Activ8me, that is my internet provider, since your program update my email no longer opens and I cannot send emails, i have been on the phone for an hour with my provider and they have tried many things, nothing ever changed or worked, when I try to open Thunderbird it tells me the server may have gone down or there may be a network problem, if i try to send an email it tells me, peer reports incompatible or unsupported protocol versions and the configuration needs to be corrected, The Techs at Activ8me could not get it to work, they think there must be an issue with Thunderbirds new program, can you look into this please and see why activ8 emails do not work on here any more, hopefully someone can provide for me a complete and easy to follow guide that will fix this issue, Thanks, Ray

I have two email accounts: my personal Gmail and my work's Google Workspace account.
Until last week, I was using Unified Folders to view both inboxes on the same screen. However, one day, Thunderbird started showing an empty panel instead of my emails. The emails only reappeared after I used Troubleshoot Mode to reset the configuration, but that action disabled Unified Folders.
Since then, I’ve been unable to reactivate Unified Folders. When I select the option, it doesn't "stick."
I've reviewed the posts Unified folders was working fine, now it's not working. and Problem displaying unified folders and the page as well as the page Unified Folders not working, but none of the suggested solutions worked for me.
I am using Thunderbird 128.5.0esr (64-bit) on Windows 11, but also tried versions 133 and 115, and they all behaved the same way, even when creating brand-new accounts.

We have had our sympatico.ca account for decades, but have recently created a gmail address as we will probably leave Bell, for a number of reasons, and I understand that we will then lose all remaining sympatico emails. We recently switched from Outlook to Thunderbird, but my guess is that we will no longer need Thunderbird, and gmail will be easily transportable, though it has some rather distasteful features, limited storage being one. My question is, is there a way to migrate the emails away from Bell and retain them. This doesn't seem to be a strictly Thunderbird question, though I'm sure it has arisen numerous times in the past. Now the updated new Thunderbird is repeatedly have issues with each email account showing the automatic Login for new mail is failing to work. The error message says 'LOGIN TO (EMAIL ADDRESS) ACCT FAILED: LOGIN TO SERVER POP.CENTURYLINK.NET WITH USERNAME (EMAILADDRESS) FAILED'.

When I opened T-bird today, the entire account appeared to be missing, along with all of the associated messages.
I had not used T-bird for about a week, and so it had updated automatically to v.128.5.0esr from v.128.4.3esr. I did go to the Help > TroubleshootingInformation > Mail and News Accounts, and there's nothing there. Similarly, I went to ... > Profiles > about:profiles and did not see my default profile there.
Is this a problem of the most recent update? How do I restore my previous email account and settings?
Appreciate anyone's assistance with this.

I've deleted the 3 files as recommended by one contact, shut down, and restarted Thunderbird with no success. Thunderbird was supposedly up to date but I noted another update effective 11/27. Current version 128.5. Equipment is Dell desk top GTK5PC6 running Win11 (this may be the problem but I'm starting here first - Win help is anything but). The desk top is 64 bit with 500mb hd, Intel Core X-64 processor, 16GB ram.

After updating to 128.4.4esr I can no longer send email - NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED. I can create a new message, hit Ctl-S to save and I get a dialog box of "Status: Creating mail message..." and a progress indicator that is at 100%. I also get an error of "Unable to save your messages as a draft. Sending of the message failed".
If I attempt to send and email I get the same creating mail message and an error dialog box saying "Sending of the message failed".
In the error console I see
I looked at my ~/.thunderbird directory and the permissions are 700. I'm on Ubuntu 24.04.

After update of TB to 128.4.3est via openSuse (15.5) the calendar no longer displays any events. Is this a settings problem? I read of this problem on Win and MAC but don't see any postings related to Linux. Another post said that events are stored and recoverable. Suggestions appreciated.
