linux will not let me upgrade my firefox,what can I do to upgrade?
I have pc Linux os and has firefox 3.6,I want to up grade to latest firefox. but Linux won't let me,how can I upgrade my browser? Thank you,Lon.

First make sure that you meet the system requirements for current Firefox versions.
Another version to consider is Firefox 17.0.x ESR:
Go to this website- www.mozilla.org for the latest linux version- You are going to want: firefox-19.0.2.tar.bz2 download and open with archive manager.
Firefox is open source so it should (and usually does) work well with linux. let us know if that helps!

Judging from the 3.6.6 and 2010 in your UA you likely have the old 2010.07 version as shown on http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=pclinuxos

This big issue is you may have some dependencies issues due to having older necessary packages installed.
