My Firefox will not start up

My Firefox will not start up either from shortcut or from the Mozilla folder. I re-ran installation file but no change. Uninstall also doesn't work. Have scanned PC with McAfee and no problems revealed. Now can't uninstall Firefox with Windows uninstaller. All other Browsers tested work (IE, Chrome, Safari).

Using Vista Home Premium
