I recently upgrade Thunderbird running on my Mac to the most recent version available through homebrew. After upgrading, when I launch the application the mailbox window doesn't show up even though the app is running. I am able to set focus on the app and see the app-specific menu-bar option but only for "Thunderbird". I can select options in that menu-bar but they don't result in anything coming up including just selecting "About Thunderbird". I can see the application running in activity monitor and it just gradually consumes more and more RAM but never loads anything.

I am on a 2019 MacBook Pro running MacOS Monterey 12.6. I have email 2 accounts configured in Thunderbird both of which have many thousands of emails being synced when the app is working.

I would be inclined to install and update with the downloads from thunderbird.net
