It says that firefox is updated, but when I check it is still version 66

I use Ubuntu 14.04 version, and I recently updated firefox manualy, an it says that it is updated, but when i check in the About firefox section it says that it is still on version 66. And i can't use firefox anymore because it crashes constantly. But it is updated. How can i fix this?

You appear to be using Firefox 66 from the Ubuntu repositories, so it is possible that newer versions aren't supported by your distro.

Do you meet the requirements for the current release ?

Verify that you meet the System Requirements (GTK+ and GLib) for the current Firefox release.
