Possible to get Sound alert when SENDING a message (like Apple Mail does)?

I've tried the Mailbox Alerts add-on, but that only works with Inboxes, inbox-subfolders, etc. I cannot get it to work with the Sent or Outbox. (it is a neat add-on tho)

Does anyone know if it is possible to have a sound "alert" when you Send a message? I know that Apple Mail does it, but I'm not using Mail. I prefer TB.

Any ideas?? Thanks for any help.

I do not understand... why would you need a sound to tell you you are sending something you just clicked on to send?

It's not necessary; not needed per se. I just got used to the way that Apple Mail does it. It makes a whosshing sound when it goes.

If you have Mailbox Alert, it can make a sound when a message is sent by creating a filter that acts on the Sent folder ('Run selected filter(s) on', choose Sent), such as the one in the attached picture.

Yeah, tried that. Read the manual thoroughly. Can't get it to work. Does it work for you? Makes a sound when you send an email?

Tested and working here in TB 60/Win7. Right-click the Sent folder and make sure Mailbox Alert/Default sound is checked (or whatever sound you have set).
