I am trying to upload PDFs to websites, but I get the prompt: does not support this type of file. These sites are specifying PDFs, so is there some kind of block that Firefox has activated? I have had this problem on LinkedIn, and many other sites.

Applications panel - Set how Firefox handles different types of files may help troubleshoot what you have set for PDF. However it may be the types of pdfs you are using. are they standard pdfs?
