Can't change background color from pink.
I just recently installed Thunderbird and tried out some of the controls when I did. Now it seems my default background color is pink. (#ffcccc) I can change it to any of the 70 standard colors for the emails I write during one session. When I close the write screen and reopen it comes back with pink. It doesn't show pink on my screen but when I send it to someone else it is pink. How can I change this back to white so that it will stay that way? What I understand is the normal way only works till I close the write screen.

What do you have under Tools(or AppMenu/Options)/Options/Composition/General in the HTML section?

Where / how did you change the background to pink?
Did you use any code in userChrome.css or the Stylish addon? Or make a change in config editor?
In TB's config editor, there's an entry for the background color of composer (editor): editor.background_color;#FFFFFF
Values are hex color codes - white by default. Maybe that got changed. It might ? also accept RGB color code. Not sure about RGBA, but anything input correctly just won't work, so you then change it.

Good job that seems to have done it. I saw in the section you mentioned the option to restore defaults and that put it back to white. Thanks a lot.
Thanks for your suggestion. Someone else pointed me in the right direction and now the background is back to white. Thanks for your input.
