So I have an Excel workbook in my onedrive from MS, It was working fine on my firefox browser in my Ubuntu OS, last week it started to delete my cell's information whenever I pressed the enter, tab or arrow keys, I contacted the MS support and they get me to opened the same file on a chrome browser and worked fine... I still want to use my firefox browser but this problem is very annoying, please help me sort it out!!!

Firefox Browser 125.0.3, Flatpak Every few minutes, the mouse locks up on Ubuntu 23.10 and it only happens with I have Firefox open. I have have no extension, and history is turned off I have lived with this for months on multiple updates hoping for someone working on Firefox would figure out the issue and fix it.

This issue never happens to me on my windows PCs.

My Local Folders has become corrupted after restoring from a backup. I can't delete or move subfolders, and can only delete messages by holding down the shift key. Is there a way of repairing this? Thanks.

Several days ago, my comcast email said it couldn't connect, and after trying a couple other things, I removed the account and tried to add it back on. When I try to add it as an IMAP account, it pulls up a window that loads for a minute then says "Unable to connect. An error occurred during a connection to localhost." On the thunderbird window where I entered my password, it says "Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username, or password." I logged in on a browser, so I know the username and password are correct. I tried adding it as a POP account, and that worked fine, but I need it as IMAP.

Opened a directory of pdfs from the command line using ```firefox * &``` and went on with my work. Hi, I have Windows 11, Intel processor, 64 Gb RAM, TBytes of SD storage. Lately I have been experiencing issues displaying email with attachments. It is intermittent, but occurs when I display an email with one or more attachments such as PDFs. I have a preview window open to the right of my mail list. If I click on the item in the list I see a properly formatted email in the preview window .. for a few seconds. Without me touching anything, the mail converts to HTML and the attachment is gone. Redisplaying the item goes right to HTML. Further, the HTML has nothing to do with the original message. If I go to my mail server the original item might still be there, but it might be gone. I have not seen a pattern to determine why some are gone. I need to solve this. I don't see this problem described in previous posts.

Attachments: tbird_before.jpg - preview email with attachment (personal data obscured) a few seconds later it switches to tbird_after.jpg and I cannot get the email back.

What strategies or technologies has the Firefox platform implemented to ensure efficient memory management and minimize resource consumption, particularly in handling large-scale web applications and multimedia content?

I have used Firefox for many, many years and have always loved it. Recently, it stopped loading some websites. I have read and tried everything I have read and still can't fix the problem. I have to switch to Edge to load the sites. I am tearing my hair out trying to get this fixed, but I will have to use other browsers if this doesn't get cleared up. Some sites load and most don't, but there is no rhyme nor reason to what it loads and what it doesn't. I do not have a great deal of tech know-how and cannot seem to fix this according to my research. I get no "error" messages except that the page can't load. Please help. I would hate to have to learn another browser.

My TB repeatedly downloading all the emails in my Inbox, it is slowing down TB and can't access and reply to current email due to it. Is there any solution to it without losing my data?

Apparently the latest Thunderbird update is causing our Windows 11 print spooler to stop. I've seen this problem talked about elsewhere but have not seen a solution. The spooler has to be restarted, otherwise no app/program will print, since only Print to PDF is then available. This is making Thunderbird almost useless to us. Help.

It didn't, not always. Over the years, there have been times when the issue would still pop up, but not as often as before (2022 and earlier).

I have a feeling that during an issue, FF is having difficulty setting up shop after starting up. Consequently, it is spending more time before it could become prepared to connect to the Net. I've come up with another "solution," which is deleting (or moving out) xulstore.json in the profile folder after exiting or before starting FF. You can create a batch command or script to execute the process.

So far, FF is connecting immediately after startup.

I am having an issue with Firefox and video playback, specifically on YouTube. When I play a video in default view mode, the playback is super choppy / low frame rate. When I change to theatre view or full screen, playback works perfectly.

I've tried incognito windows and troubleshooting mode with no improvement.

Microsoft Edge works fine.

Not sure where to go from here.

I have tried all fixes suggested by others reporting similar problems with previous versions, but this was noticeable for me yesterday afternoon right after some downtime and the latest version (for me) of Firefox was installed. Every time I try to use a site requiring recaptcha, the wheel spins and I get no choice to log in. I've cleared cookies and my cache, refreshed Firefox, etc. Nothing works.

Hello, since the latest version of Firefox, as always, it breaks now if I want to enter instantgaming or it does not enter no matter how much I click on enter or in kinguin.net, when it asks me for the recapcha, it stays in an infinite loop and does not show the images. .

I have done safe mode and installed firefox from 0 and nothing, it is tedious that at this point a browser that has been having this type of problems for years because in opera, edge they do not give me these errors, it is tiring to always have to have a browser that fails due to anything.

For quite awhile I have had an intermittent problem when watching YouTube videos. To watch a video I right click on it and select "open link in new window". If I just click on the video to watch it, the main page may reload when I click on the back arrow and some of the videos I was interested in are no longer displayed. Sometimes my touchpad doesn't recognize the right click and opens the video in the current window. After it starts playing, if I click the back arrow, the video returns to the previous page (which may be reloaded), and sometimes the audio from the video keeps playing, so I have audio for a video that is no longer visible. When this happens, if I click on another video, the audio from both are played. Today I had the same thing happen when I was streaming a TV program from the Spectrum website.

1. If I click on a YouTube video from the main page, should the main page be rebuilt when I click on the back arrow? 2. How do I resolve the audio continuing to play problem? i don't know if this is a Firefox problem but I have no idea where to start to fix it.

Hi I am having problems with Thunderbird, i’m not sure if it’s to do with a windows 11 update or something else. Thunderbird is not responding also at the start of the ‘not responding’ emails from one of my accounts disappeared and then gradually started to reappear but didn’t get up to date and now just not responding st all. I have tried various things to resolve this, uninstalling and reinstalling Thunderbird, doing this and opening my pc in safe mode, doing this and opening Thunderbird in safe mode. Deleting and reinstalling the latest windows 11 update, reinstalling the latest Thunderbird update. I don’t know what to try next? I read somewhere to delete your profile, after saving it, and getting a new profile but no idea how to do this. Any help appreciated.

It all started about 3 days ago. I was having problems accessing my att.net email account on both my iMac running Thunderbird 115.10.1 and on my iPhone running iOS 17.4.1. I changed login password and was able to get the mail on iPhone, but not on the computer running Thunderbird. I got the settings information for both POP3 and IMAP from att. I first tried to go into Thunderbird and was able to find the email protocol settings and they were correct for POP3, but still not retrieve email. The error message I last received is, "Sending of password for user ******@att.net did not succeed. Mail Server inbound.att.net responded:[SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later.
