On iPad with Firefox 148.2: I often have multiple tabs open and despite block autoplay settings a tab might start playing something. How do I locate that tab without having to open each tab or get an extension? I have seen in some older help results that there was a speaker icon on the tab that is playing, but mine do not have that.

Hi, I'm using Firefox 64bit (version 144) on my Windows 11. I've noticed that I can no longer drag tabs around or detach them. I would guess this started with the latest version because I could do that some short time ago.

I've already tried the following:

• Restart of the browser - did not help
• Restart of the computer - did not help
• Start firefox in safe mode (Troubleshooting mode) - did not help
• Tried changing browser.tabs.allowTabDetach - did not help

I'm not sure what could be the problem. Does anyone experience the same issue?

The 149 update made the tab previews much larger and even though that is probably a great change for people with vision problems, I find the extra space it takes up annoying as I tend to have a lot of active tabs and it makes it harder to scroll through them all. Is there a way to change the size of the tab previews or better yet, turn them off completely? I honestly prefer how the inactive tabs menu just has the text title of the page.

After a recent update, I've found the swipe to delete function extremely cumbersome to use. it used to be that i could quickly swipe a tab and it would reliably get deleted. now, it doesn't delete the tab unless I move my finger further than what's comfortable while gripping my phone one handed. I basically only use the x icon now since swiping is so inconsistent.

like in safari, i had pinned the websites (as tabs) i visit regularly.

when i restarted the browser, all tabs were gone.

i have been using this feature in safari since a decade and no pinned tabs have been lost.

please guide.

In Firefox Android, there's an option to automatically close tabs after one day, one week or one month.

I'd like to set it to 1 or 2 hours.

Is it possible? Maybe through about:config menu?

All of a sudden Firefox stopped reloading my previous tabs when I start Firefox (whether or not it is set to open automatically on start up). I have ensured the relevant boxes are ticked and I have even reinstalled Firefox altogether - and all to no avail.

I am using Firefox on a W11 64 bit desktop. I have used it for years and have never had this problem before.

I LOVE y'alls new splitscreen feature, BUT I also noticed ya'll put the X on the tabs so that at any time even if unselected, you can close it; Is there any way to make that x appear only when selected because the main reason I used firefox in the past was because middle click was it's own dedicated way to close tabs making selected tabs literally careless and SIGNIFIGANTLY time efficient, but now that that x is on the tab at all times, it gets in the way and IT'S MAKING ME CLOSE ALL MY SPLIT TABS. Please, as a loyal firefox user, with either tell me how to remove the x's or please make it an official option to have them off. Thank you for your time.

Hi! So I have been using the firefox app on my ipad air for a while now and in the last few weeks the following issue has turned up: Regularly, but not always, the app opens a new tab any time I click on a link. Example: I use moodle for work and each time I want to get somewhere in my moodle classes, a new tab opens. When I give the app a fresh start, the issue resolves for a while but returns eventually. I have no idea why but I have to say that it is quite annoying when you have to scrool through tabs all the time. Hopefully, you will be able to help me out. Every time I accidentally close Firefox I lose all my saved groups on reopening. I can see they are still there but cannot see how to open them. They are such a great innovation. Please make it easier to restore them from previous sessions. Going through a search history and restoring them one by one is hugely time consuming when they are already there and just inaccessible. btw, I tried using scrounger (via troubleshooting) but the "Save List" is greyed out.

While it may be obvious, for some reason it didn't connect. I was trying to group pinned tabs. It doesn't work. I have to unpin them, if I want to group them. If someone could add to it? I'm likely not the only one.

Hello, I periodically check to see if there is a way to stop dynamic tab resizing without having to edit the registry. I have tried several methods involving tab size in settings and nothing has worked to stop the dynamic resizing. Any new ideas out there?

SCENARIO: One or more tabs are currently open and the user wants to open a new one.

CURRENT BEHAVIOUR: It seems that a user can only open a new tab by long pressing on a random link found on an open tab/web page and choosing "Open link in private tab" from the pop up menu.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR: A user should be able to open a new tab from the expanded tab count pop up next to the address bar, perhaps above/below "Close other tabs". The tab count should be displayed even when there's only just one tab open; in this case the "Close other tabs" option should not be displayed.
