Every time I quit FF, FF crashes, or my Mac crashes, my bookmarks either disappear entirely, or the toolbar bookmarks and/or my "Other Bookmarks" folder disappear while leaving my main "Bookmarks Menu" bookmarks. When I tried to restore from json backups, I discovered that my last one seems to be from last October. So I used Time Machine to restore my FF user profile from March 1. This works, but then I go through the cycle I just described above again ... and again. New backups of my Mac do not hold onto the bookmarks when I restore FF user profiles made after March 1.

When I try to manually back up my bookmarks or export my bookmarks to an HTML file from inside the "Manage Bookmarks" window, everything seems to work, but then when I go looking for the file I supposedly created (e.g. bookmarks-2024-03-04.json), no such file exists in the location where I saved it and searching for a file with "bookmarks" in its name yields only bookmarks from other browsers and the old bookmark backups from last October and earlier.

Hello, I use Firefox as my only browser and I use the shortcuts because they're really helpful. But every time that I lunch Firefox all the pages in the shortcuts "call" their websites, I see it from pihole and all the requests are made every first lunch of Firefox. Probably it's something related to the cache and to give better perfomances in case I wanna select one of those shortcuts, but I don't want that all of them make a "call" to their respective websites. I think it's something related to privacy and freedom about what I want to do with mt browser. Is there an option to block those connections? In case there isn't an option is possible to implement it? Thank you so much

I use OnlyKey usb key as FIDO2 MFA with most of my accounts. On Firefox 123.0 on MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1 (23C71) however, I get presented with multiple pop ups to touch my usb key but the key expects only one input/touch and it fails when I touch it the second time. This was not the workflow that I used to use before and it still works fine on MacOS ventura with Firefox + protonmail.

Hi jscher2000, I want to thank you for your advice concerning a problem I had downloading Firefox to my Windows 10 laptop. I tried to follow your advice but was not successful. In the end, I googled "what if Firefox doesn't install". It took me to a website, https://www.makeuseof.com/fix-firefox-not-installing-windows , which took me to an article entitled "8 Fixes to Try if Firefox Won't Install on Windows". I tried #1 and #2 without success. #3, Temporarily Disable Your Antivirus Software, worked. Firefox is up and running. Feel free to share this with anyone who has a similar problem. Hi, PLEASE ASSIST I have a Desktop Computer & also a Laptop Computer(both using Windows 10) I used Firefox Syn to have both Comuters the same BUT BUT,Nothing but Problems On the Desktop Computer,regardless if I open Firefox,both Bookmark Menu & toolbar Menu are the same After (on firefox using Eset Banking) the Toolbar was great,but now,when I open it,it is the same as the normal Bookmark Menu) & if I open Firefox normally,the Menus are the same On Firefox using ESET Banking,I deleted all the menu on the toolbar & Put in the sites I had before all of the SYN But After I had it back to where I need it,GREAT & Shut it down,After 15 minutes I reopened it again & MUCH TO MY DISCUSS.the Toolbar Menu I just had put back is gone & the normal bookmark menu is Back HOW CAN I STOP THIS Through Firefox ESET Banking Tooplbar menu,is a safe way of logging into sites to make payments It is EXTREMELY FRUSTATING Please Help Thank you Darryl.Smith

I have had this spam pop up 2 times when I was on Facebook through Firefox through DuckDuckGo. Could someone confirm that this is spam and how to fix it? Also, I would like to report it to Firefox and I can't find how to do that either. Thank you

For the last several months, I have been unable to get audio input from any device working on Firefox. The mic inputs work in all other apps and browsers, are appropriately permissioned on Windows 11, and appear in the Firefox permission windows. No actual audio is received by the website.

I have installed Firefox clean, rebooted countless times, tried the Beta and Dev channel releases, and disabled all extensions, to no avail. I have ensured that I am on the latest releases, have tried various devices, run virus scans. I have included images of the Windows sound settings showing working Mic levels, Firefox showing the device in permissions, etc.

My sound drivers are up to date, and mics work in all other browsers and apps. This is limited exclusively to Firefox.

After switching to Firefox from Chrome, after Chrome started acting wierd, especially when it came to youtube, I haven't been able to pay for Ubereats deliveries, all that happens is it stays on the checkout page. making me bring up my phone and pay that way as I can still use the basket I put together.

Tried to report it to Ubereats but whoever was on the other side of the chat, seemed to think the problem was with the phone app and closed the ticket without solving anything.

How someone here can help figure out why it's happing.

The following html inscription animates when clicked (the duck in the image quacks), but for some reason, the animation doesn't activate on http://ord.io with the firefox browser. I wanted to bring this to your attention because It works on http://ord.io with every other browser.

In devtools when i search in all resources it takes 2+ minutes to find all of the matches, while chrome is near instant, same website. theres around 200 requests. On my laptop it completes faster though so im a little confused.
