He has taken my life . I have gone thru four phones , he uses the router and I can't afford to switch and he turns off and on setting s takes contacts , it is ruining my life . My mom died I lost our health INS kids and I because he turned email off

I ve two problems

1) recently i can't play videos on websites, checked i ve most updated app & no adds on & cleared my cache but the problem standstill

2) logging in some applications may require redirection to their site , despite i ve Firefox as my default browser those apps are using chrome instead of Firefox recently

HTTPS://SECURE.SSA.GOV open okay but when go to next page to SIGN-IN, Firefox is blocking it as following/below. What the heck is going on blocking SSA Sign-In after main Website is already open ?!?!?!?!?!

For a while now, I had the issue of apps on Windows 11 opening very delayed (approx. 10-15 seconds after the input) on irregular occasions. I was now able to figure out that Firefox seems to be the cause of the problem. Whenever I close Firefox (and thus move to another program), I'm unable to open any other app for a couple of seconds. Task Manager shows three Firefox background processes that only show upon closing it. Only when they disappear, the apps I clicked on finally open. I've tried reinstalling and cleaning Firefox, but nothing changed.

As said, I'm on Windows 11 with a i5-13600k and Firefox is installed on an SSD. I couldn't really find any information on this problem.

I am using Firefox developer edition I noticed it has updated itself to latest version  : 117.0b1(64-bit)

I always have Firefox updates so version before that was the 116.b08

After the update on startup I get the error message attached I close it and then Firefox runs normally but this happens on every time I run Firefox.

Hi, Various Sites (sometimes firefox as a whole) keep crashing regularly. I am running Arch Linux (6.4.12, default kernel) with Hyprland WM on an old i7-7700K with a Nvidia GTX980TI. Apart from Firefox the system runs stable. When doing research, or just browsing text based sites, firefox is also very stable, but on some sites like twitch, youtube, or idle games like "Antimatter Dimensions" (ivark.github.io) the browser (or page) crashes regularly. It also happens in Troubleshoot mode, also after a clean re-install (including deleting /.mozilla in /home) and since various versions over the last couple of month. The latest crash report ID is bp-67ed2673-4ed2-452b-bc63-dc1060230831. I know I'm running a niche system, but I really like my setup and apart from those crashes it's amazing, so I hope you can help and point me in the right direction as to what could cause the crashes. I have chosen a colorful garden theme for my new Firefox browser but now I can barely see my taskbar and any text above the taskbar. It is all very small and white. The main screen area below is white. I would prefer black thicker text for that area but don't see how to do that in any of the articles I have found. I don't want to make all my text bigger, just the Firefox specific headers. Can anyone help?

Hey everyone, FF auto-fills my email into this specific box on the PayPal website (see attached).

It's an email field for inputting the email of someone that you'd like to request money from. I understand as an email field FF always auto-fills this with my email address. But I'm never in a situation where I need to request money from myself.

So how can I prevent FF from auto-filling my email info on this one specific website form field? Is there a way to block a specific page/ URL from using FF auto-fill?

Any thoughts, ideas, and suggestions are greatly welcomed! Thank you all for your time!

I have noticed the following recent change in behavior :

[MAC OS Ventura 13.5.1 - Firefox 117.0]

Firefox is and has always been my default browser.

Firefox not yet running - If I receive an email with a hyperlink in it and click on it, Firefox will open my Home Page but not the page the hyperlink refers to.

Firefox already open - If I click the hyperlink in the email, Firefox will open a new tab with the page the hyperlink refers to - ok

Until recently clicking on a hyperlink in a email would open the page the link refers to irrespective of whether Firefox was already running or not. I would need to revert to that behavior. Is there a parameter I can change to have it restored ?

How do I make it stop requiring verification of a device I've been using for 5 years? I prefer Firefox to Safari in all other ways, but this is a time consuming repetitive problem.

Using Firefox today I tried to search for various things using https://oceanhero.today/search.. I got this error message:

"Sorry, there was an error when rendering your search. We were notified and will try to resolve this issue as soon as possible."

But the search engine - which I've been using on Firefox for a long time without any problems - works fine on Bing.

Is there a remedy? Many thanks for any advice.

I just moved into a new Dell Laptop and downloaded the latest Firefox program and loaded it. I moved my Profile and all is good EXCEPT, the Home Page News Items listed on the previous Dell Laptop are gone. Running the same Virus Protection, I can't figure out how to get those news stories back. HELP!!

I am developing a website (using AstroJS, but i don't think that's the problem) and since yesterday I am experiencing issues when opening devtools. Once I open devtools the whole FF tab becomes unresponsive, I cannot even refresh the page until they are done loading. I can change devtool tabs from 'inspector' to 'console' to 'network' etc but especially 'network' and 'debug' tabs are blank.

I run a 'performance' capture and got these results. In the test I have only opened the devtools and switched to the inspector tab which is unresponsive. The CPU usage is at around 90% however, I don't really know how to read the finding and understand what the problem is.

So anyone that can help me understand what is going on here?

Recently, firefox added an annoying feature that throws unwanted popups into my face: Website translation.

I want it gone. I can't seem to find any switch to get rid of that garbage in the preferences. I'm not scared of about:config but the best I could find was a list of languages to never translate.

How do I globally and eternally disable website translations?

Hello, my firefox browser was updated and all of my tabs, pinned tabs, extensions, paswords, absolutely everything is gone. I signed into my account but that doesn't seem to be helping. I would like to restore all of my old data, what should I do ?
