PDF in Firefox remains grayed out, because l cannot do a Firefox search. l cannot change the default search in apps because there all grayed out. l cannot change it in settings - search for Google Chrome and Firefox, because there is no Firefox appearing, even after in Firefox tip saying long press search line to add it. Cannot get box to come up either, to be able to change default search to Firefox by clicking always or once. My tablet is a Lenovo Yoga 8 Android jelly bean 4.2.2 OS. Please can someone help, l have been trying to figure this out for more than a week. l especially wanted to use the save to PDF function in Firefox. Please, please HELP!

Hi nature26,

There is no Firefox search, there are a number of search engines you can choose in the Settings men u > Customize> Search Engines

The search engine will be searched in the toolbar, as you type there will be an option to chose to search in many engines. If you turned on google search suggestions this will happen as well.

When you say the option is greyed out, can you please take a screenshot on the tablet and upload it in a response, it is a little unclear what you are trying to do. How to make screenshots

When you say you want to save to a pdf, are you talking about this add on for the android? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire.../save-as-pdf/
