I upgraded to Firefox Pro, and now I have 2 icons~one for basic Firefox and one for the pro version. Can I delete the basic one?

Are you referring to the "EZ Backup Firefox Pro" as this is not made by Mozilla.

Firefox is a web browser made by Mozilla.org on desktop for Windows, Mac OSX, Linux and mobile Firefox for Android and they also make the Firefox OS. None of the Firefox products from Mozilla are ones you pay for.

Edit: As I suspected afterwards, it was about Flashfox which is also not made by Mozilla. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/979833
