When I type something in the google search bar it goes straight to a website, why?

Sometimes it'll actually got to google results and sometimes it goes straight to a website... for example I just typed in ufc and it went to ufcstore.com, why is it doing this? It's acting as if the search engine bar is the address bar, why is it being confused? Using version 3.6.17. Thanks!
