Why doesn't Firefox beta converge to something that is plugin compatible with previous release? Every new beta kills my addons.

Every time I upgrade Firefox beta, which it nags me to do, my addons are deemed incompatible - the few that managed to get compatible since the last update - and I can no longer run them.

Shouldn't the beta addon interface converge, so it stops being incompatible? This is confusing.

Mirar: if this is a problem for you, I suggest you use the stable version of Firefox (3.6). The beta releases are for testing and improvement, so obviously things are going to break (or, rather, we ask addon authors to check their addons are compatible each time, which takes them a bit of time).
