On my Mac Firefox opens each time with the Qwant webpage, but also with pop-up "Make Quant my default search engine". Seems contradictory.

The Qwant search engine is what I want Firefox to start with. So that's OK. I find it contradictory to receive the abovementioned pop-up, which seems to do something that has already happened. Maybe I need to understand this if I want to install a default search engine in the second and consecutive tabs in Firefox and which is in the end my real problem.
