Firefox is continuously uploading or backing up then deleting it and then backing it up again over and over I am on a metered connection this is destroying me please help

I'm building custom firmware for a Makerdiary nRF52840 USB dongle using GitHub Actions.

When I tried downloading the generated ZIP file, Firefox blocked it with the warning: "This file contains a virus or malware."

I removed the blocked download rather than overriding Firefox's protection.

The ZIP contains custom `.uf2` firmware for an embedded USB device. The GitHub Actions build passed its validation checks, and an independent ClamAV scan of the original firmware reported 0 infected files. I subsequently built and scanned an updated version, which also passed.

I understand that a clean ClamAV scan does not guarantee the file is safe.

Could someone help me determine why Firefox classified this download as malware and explain how to submit it for a possible false-positive review without disabling Firefox's security protections?

i have 4 computers and 1 Apple phone that all have Firefox installed. I used to be able to sync all of them with no problem but now it seems it has become extremely difficult and I can't seem to be able to do it as easy any more. My main computer gives me a QR code to scan on my mobile phone but the directions are not clear as to whether I should use my QR reader app or my mobile phone camera. i have not been able to sync my devices because I am having issues signing into my Firefox app on my mobile device. i am just about ready to scrap Firefox on all my devices and start using another browser as it's gotten more difficult to use Firefox. And I would like my old layout for my Windows 11 computer. i do not like the new layout.

View of ESPN "Schedules" is Correct on Edge but cut-off on Firefox, what am I doing wrong?

If I select Schedules in Firefox wherever the right side is extensive, the very end is cut off. If I use Edge, the browser corrects it, but I don't want to keep switching if I can help it.

Must have some setting wrong but haven't figured it out.

Windows 11 Home: 26H2 Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro

This has been an occasional problem for a month or so. When I start Firefox, perhaps one in three times, it opens all the tabs from the previous session. Particularly disconcerting is that it is opening sites with passwords from earlier sessions.

I hoped that the next iteration of Firefox would solve the problem, but it has continued with Firefox 158.0.

I have changed my settings more than once, and then changed them back, without result.

I am running Linux Mint with Cinnamon.

If I inadvertently closed a tab, I used to be able to go to the "recently closed tabs" menu and find it. Now, when I click on that link, there's nothing there. I can and do use the show all history tab, but that is much much more cumbersome.

A few days ago, I cleared my caches which may or may not be a factor, but I've done a lot of browsing since then.

I want to use your built in VPN. Every time while I follow instructions the process becomes circular. ie., when asked to click on VPN icon the same dropdown menu appears to activate by clicking on VPN button

These two comparison are made between Firefox 158.0 (64 bit) in Troubleshoot Mode and Brave 1.97.59 (64 bit), on Windows 10, version 22H2. I use the 30MB Big Buck Bunny version on test-videos.co.uk site, Firefox seems able to load the 1MB, or 2MB version pretty smoothly, but higher than that, it starts to stutter, for some reasons I cannot understand.

(Most results I can find online tell me to "disable hardware acceleration", but I have been turning that setting on and off multiple times without seeing any changes)

Ironically, videos on Youtube can load normally without issues. It just seems any embedded videos would behave oddly like this, which I encounter most often on Discord.

So i can not open up a youtube video i click on the thumbnail and nothing happens. Ive been working with chatgpt with this promblem and it still hasnt worked. I have factory rested my whole destop didnt help. it works in troubleshoot mode but not in the main one i had the problem on google chrome and i switched to firefox nothing changed and am frustrated I need help talking with chatgpt for 3 hours didnt work.

For at least a year now the download links on most websites and emails do not work when using Firefox. I must use a different browser to complete a download. After clicking on a download link, Firefox will act like it is going to start the download but then acts as if the link is being blocked. I have to use a different browser like Zen or DuckDuckGo to do the download. I have checked the settings and nothing has changed from the initial setup done years ago. This started happening several updates ago and has not improved but only gotten worse with each new update. As of now I can only use Firefox to download links from about 1 in 50 websites. There's not much sense in using Firefox as my default browser if I have to use another browser to download link contents from websites or my emails.
