Unable to close thunderbird on Imac. Needs force close last three updates.
Using Thunderbird for years with no problems. With the last three updates I've not been able to close Thunderbird without using "Force Close". Have I done something that would create this issue or is there a bug? Thanks for the help. jws

often this is related to add-ons and anti virus programs, but before anything else, just try downloading and installing a fresh complete copy.
I had the same issue and it fixed it for me. Unfortunately I have no idea what was wrong that it fixed.
