how do I turn off pop blockers and how do I get to it?

When I search for past discussions on this question I find the following solution. I haven't tested it myself. (1) In the address bar, type or paste '''about:config''' and tap the Enter key. You might want to bookmarks this page for future access. (2) In the search box, type or paste '''open''' and tap the Enter key to search. (3) Scroll down to the '''dom.disable_open_during_load''' preference and tap the Toggle button switch it from true to false. Then try the page with the popup again. Any luck? If you have too many popups, you can go back and toggle it back later.
