download bookmarks from android phone
I just downloaded Windows 8 and as a result of that process I no longer have any bookmarks. The bookmarks are on the server and on my Android Phone, though. Is there a way I can download my bookmarks, either from the server or from my Android Phone, without the recovery key? I have the recovery key, but it won't work for some reason ... maybe I have the Caps wrong or something.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, since I've already spent hours searching for the answer to no avail.

I've gone back to X-Marks for now, which does not require a key ... just an ID and Password. They're a couple of months old, but captured 95%+ of my bookmarks
To follow-up on my last message. I won't go back to Sync again and stick with X-Marks, since a recovery key is unnecessary and it's more practical than Sync. Mozilla should learn from this ... but I'm pretty sure they won't.
Mozilla ... FYI, making customers upset is not a good business strategy !!! My bank, which is much more critical than my bookmarks, does not require a complicated recovery key, they use other more practical means ... HELLO !!!
The Sync Recovery Key is used for encryption of the user's data while in transit to and from the Sync server, and while on the Sync server. IMO, encryption may not be necessary for bookmarks, but Sync handles other personal data, too. If all you want sync'd is your bookmarks, the Mozilla Sync services using the Recovery Key is overkill, but when it comes to user logins and passwords that is where the encryption is necessary. BTW, when you have at least one device currently connected to Sync, you could have used Pair a Device to get the new Win8 installation connected to your Sync account.
