spam folder is missing from my folder list in my thunderbird email for pc

If this is a POP account you'll have to enable the spam controls in the Account Settings > account name > Spam Settings ..... Thereafter the Spam folder will be created

Did so, rebooted Thunderbird, no spam folder

Is this a POP or an IMAP account?

I can't check, can't get Incoming Server only outgoing

The server type can be found in Account Settings > Server settings ...

That's where I went and that is what I found, I think I'm back to outlook or another email
