I'm following the instructions to sync, but there is no "Ready to Scan" to tap!
I open the menu button on my android phone version of Firefox. Tap sign in, and nothing happens! No "Ready to Scan" to tap, nothing happens. The page blinks and nothing changes. Sometimes there is not even a sign in option, as I'm already signed in, and can't find any easy way to sign out, or close tabs, or navigate this browser in any way resembling how I do on my desk or laptop. It's incredibly clunky, non-intuitive, and even following directions doesn't seem to help.

Hi Steven
Do you see your username or email address in the Firefox for Android menu? It may be the case that you are already signed into Firefox Sync.
Hi Paul, It doesn't seem to matter whether I'm already signed in, or not. Like right now, I opened Firefox on my phone, and it opened on the support page I was on yesterday, but when I clicked the three dots, and saw the option to "sign in", which I would interpret as meaning I'm not signed in. However, when I click it, all it does is cause that menu to drop away, no option or window to sign in. And I don't know if it opened in a private window or not, as it shows the FF name & logo on the left hand side of the top (under the search window), and shows the private window icon on the right hand side. I didn't choose to open it in private, and don't know if that has any relevance as to whether the sign in window is appearing or not. And this home page only shows three "shortcuts", even when I click on the "show all", below that, it says "520 Trackers blocked", then shows a graph of today's soccer games, which I never selected as showing up on my home page. Below that it shows three bookmarks, and when I click on "show all", there is a small list of recent bookmarks, and at the top: "Desktop Bookmarks", which says there are 26,570, so apparently it has synced my bookmarks.
But my main complaint is that even though it seems like it also synced my passwords, for some reason it wants to fill in the wrong one, on at least one site, despite it showing up correctly in my Firefox passwords file. The password it fills doesn't even have the correct website's url, yet that is the only one it will fill! After correctly putting in my email address, when I click on "Saved Passwords" it only shows https://id/tinypass.com, when the site is alternet.org! Why?? When I do a search in "Saved Passwords", it shows the site, my email, and password, yet it insists on filling in the wrong password, from the wrong site!
When I click on the Passwords window on the top of the keyboard, it opens up the Google Passwords Manager, and underneath, says, "No saved passwords for Firefox"! Why does it say that, and if true, how do I ensure that my Firefox passwords are saved in the Google Password Manager?
And I still have issues with Navigation on this app, in general. From the Alternet site, I don't see how I can close that page, or anything to click to get me to the homepage. And when I click the three dots, the window now shows: Desktop Site Off (yet I'm on the Firefox site on my desktop right now) It shows the Sign in option, (yet I'm already signed in)
And when I click on the Sign In, all it does it take me back to the Alternet site again! This all makes no sense whatsoever, I'm signed in, I'm not, desktop site is off, but it's definitely on. And even in the settings menu page, I now can't find anywhere that allows me to sync, no mention of it anywhere, and again, every time I hit the Sign In option, nothing happens but it disappears that menu, nothing else. Should I remove the app completely and re-install it?
