My Chromebook won't download Firefox because it says it's an unsupported file type. How do I get around this? I also can't use Linux or Google play either.

Not sure what desktop Firefox version you tried to install as it is only available for Windows 10/11, macOS 10.15 or later, and Linux. You can only run Linux and or Android version of Firefox depending on the ChromeOS and CPU you have.
