Thunderbird start menu disappeared
My son set up Thunderbird many years ago. It has always came in to a menu where we chose which company we wanted. One company has 2 email accounts and the other had 3 email accounts. Since Tuesday when we click on the email icon it goes directly to the first company without stopping on the menu. The menu used to have provisions for adding or deleting a company. I searched and can find no reference for this opening company selection. How do I get it back? I assume the old company accounts and data are still there and i just can not reach them.

goto the troubleshooting information on the help menu. look towards the bottom of the Application basics information to About:profiles. Click that.
Do your "MENU" entries show u there?
I called a friend and he had me find the executable, he had me add a space then -p and the profile menu came up. Unchecked the box the bottom box and all is right in the world. Thanks for the help, I followed your instructions and found the profile pages but did not see how to fix the problem, maybe because it was already fixed at that point.
