Any time a webpage updates, my keyboard disappears. For example, searching for a product on AliExpress means reopening the keyboard after every individual letter as the autocomplete force minimises the keyboard.

Any webpage with an image slideshow does the same thing, as does autocomplete on Google search.

How do I make the keyboard persistent like in regular Firefox builds?

Definitely sounds like you've discovered a annoying bug. I'll run a search to see if the issue has been reported as a bug already & let you know here.

Testing one of your examples, would this page (while typing in the Search box) be a good example to see the AliExpress issue? https://www.aliexpress.com/category/200005073/basketball.html

I'll ask around & report back if we have any workarounds to make the keyboard persistent. Thank you for reporting this!
