I have a proble with uploading images. I get error 713. I have cahnged the Firefox profile but that has not helped

The problem is with chatstep, a few times with facebook, with a few other websites too. I have tried changing the firefox user profile but that did not help. Occasionally when i delete the browser history, it helps for a few hours only, and does not work on every attempt.

Hello,

The Refresh feature (called "Reset" in older Firefox versions) can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.

Note: When you use this feature, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article for more information.

To Refresh Firefox:

  1. Open the Troubleshooting Information page using one of these methods:
    • Click the menu button New Fx Menu, click help Help-29 and select Troubleshooting Information. A new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
    • If you're unable to access the Help menu, type about:support in your address bar to bring up the Troubleshooting Information page.
  2. At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Refresh Firefox" ("Reset Firefox" in older Firefox versions). Click on it.
  3. Firefox will close. After the refresh process is completed, Firefox will show a window with the information that is imported.
  4. Click Finish and Firefox will reopen.

HI! Thanks so much for your suggestion. i tried by refreshing Firefox and it helped for like 30 minutes or so. The error 713 returned after that. Incidentally, I have already created a new Firefox profile as well and that has not helped either. with a little it of research on the net I have discovered that a large number of people are facing the same problem. also, the problem is not restricted to Firefox only; but happens with Chrome too (though less frequently). As compared to other websites or email; Chat sites and messengers are a bigger problem area.

That looks like an error code for the website, not from Firefox. Contact support for that website for help figuring out what's wrong.
