When I put the Downloads to download to specific folder, it gets put in the temporry secret folder.

So, I got to the setting and made it to download files in my Downloads folder from the D drive, but it saves the files in a secret temporary internet folder, it is annoying.

Is the D:/ drive on a fixed disk or SSD? Or it it on removable media, like a Flash drive?

It is possible that security software (anti-virus, firewall) is causing the problem. Try to disable security software temporarily to see if that makes a difference.
