I have the latest version of Firefox but I can't seem to get it to work. When I click on the icon, it asks me if I want to save the file, and then nothing happ

I somehow messed up the toolbar for Mozilla and now I can't get the Firefox.exe to work. When I click on the Firefox icon, I get a box with the Firefox.exe file and a message that asks if I want to save it. When I do, nothing happens.

I don't understand... Firefox is not running and you click or double-click its icon on the desktop and you get that message? Or is this in a web page? Could you describe the steps to re-create the problem in a little more detail.
