FF doesn't keep content in RAM when MBA is put on standby (close lid) = slow

I usually keep FF open all the time, I just close the lid on my MacBookAir which puts it in standby.

When I come out of standby, I notice that FF is using very little RAM, <100MB and then proceeds to load in 1+GB of content, slowly. FF is unusable during this time, and it is quite a long time.

It would be better if FF just kept everything in RAM, so that when I reopen the laptop, FF is ready to go.

Any chance that this can be changed somewhere in the config's?

Thanks
