pdf files in web-pages do not open with Firefox 5.0 and Foxit Reader ver 5.0.2.0178 on 2 separate computers.

I use Foxit reader version 5.0.2.0178 and Firefox version 5.0 and pdf files within web-sites just show a blank page. I have updated both programs with no change. On my desktop I had to go back to Adobe Reader to be able to get pdf's to show. I am unhappy with this "solution" and would prefer to to use Foxit again.
