I have used Thunderbird with no problems for a decade. Now it works on startup and if I keep the tab open, but if I exit Thunderbird, clicking on the icon does not re-open it. Then I have to restart in order for Thunderbird to open. Once open it works fine. Something has changed to prevent Thunderbird from re-opening via the icon. Could you please suggest what is causing the problem and how to fix it. I am using Windows 10. Thank you

Have you upgraded to 115.10.1? There was a bug in 115.10.

Are you referring to the Thunderbird shortcut on the desktop? I would try launching Thunderbird another way, such as via the Start menu, to see if the shortcut may be broken. Additionally, does Thunderbird appear in the processes list at all in Task Manager when the shortcut is clicked?
