I believe this behavior changed in version 50 on Mac.

Here is how I search for text in a web page: 1. press cmd+f to open Find 2. enter the text I am after 3. press ctrl+a to Highlight All occurrences 4. press Esc to close the Find box

Previously pressing Esc would leave all the highlighted Find results still highlighted. That no longer happens.

Is there a way to get back to the older behavior?

The current behavior means that if I want to see all highlighted Find results I need to: 1. keep the Find box open (I don't like this as it is distracting and also takes up space) 2. then use the mouse to click outside of the Find box (so that I can then use the space bar to page down and see all the highlighted results)

Any help much appreciated.
