Hi,Sorry to post this again,But I have spent over 4 hours trying every thing I can to correct it Since the last update,It totally Changed all my settings I managed to correct them,all BUT one & even though I have tried & Tried,I cannot remove SEARCH BAR on Toolbar Menu I have Been Through all Firefox Settings But Nothing Works & I have even removed all extensions,but NOTHING WORKS It was never on it before until the Update & it is a total Nuisance plesaea assist Thank you Darryl

I open the sidebar, search for something, and then minimize it. When I focus back on the page and return to the sidebar again, my last query is gone and a new page screen appears. I want to continue from where I left off, just like in Opera. This also causes issues in other applications. For example, when we add WhatsApp to the sidebar and open it, we have to wait for WhatsApp to reload every single time. Without these features, there is no point in using the sidebar.

I don't know if feature requests should be made here or elsewhere, but both chrome & edge have policies to force safe search in google (and bing in edge) in addition to a policy to force restricted mode in youtube, so I wish these get added to firefox.

Also, there is no policy to block firefox task manager (about:processes). I don't know if it's a security vulnerability to add it or not.

Please ask Thunderbird to stop making a tab on my taskbar every time I open an email. I have to close each one individually, and I never asked for these to be shown, and I don't need them shown. This is a tedious extra chore. I already have access to emails that I receive in my in box. It shows the history. I don't need any other index to them. Do you know how to stop making any other such tab or index? If not, please pass this on, and please don't say that you can't pass on this request. Someone decided to make these tabs show up on my screen and task bar, and to require me to close them by clicking on each little red X mark. I should be able to make contact with whoever makes these decisions and writes these programs, and to provide feedback and suggestions to them.

I use Thunderbird 140.11.1esr with Ubuntu 24.04. I also use LibreOffice 26.2.

When using LibreOffice, if I want to delete a number of contiguous characters, I put the cursor at the start of the characters I want to delete, press the delete key and hold it. Holding down the delete key means that delete works its way through all the characters I want to delete.

When using Thunderbird, if I want to delete a number of emails, pressing down and holding the delete key doesn't result in the deletion of a number of emails. Instead, I have to keep pressing delete again and again.

Is there some setting in Thunderbird that I can change that will result in delete automatically working its way through all the emails I want to delete?

I NEVER want to mark all my email as read. How can I disable that functionality? I look forward to being able to also get rid of shortcuts that do not require ctrl, alt, or shift.

As the topic says, the message list turned from the usual dark-mode look, to a full black background after updating to 151.0.

Was this an intentional change? How can I revert it?

I use Thunderbird on a PC. It has began to open evry e-mail I select as a pop-up window. This is unusual for me, and I do not want it. I just want to open the e-mail inside those windows that already exist on the screen. It has been like that before. In settings I have selected to open e-mails in an "existing window" Is this korekt? Finally one more question: can I write in Danish here? It would be easyer for me to explain my problem in danish.

I had tbird set up just how I liked it on my laptop. Then the laptop screen hinge broke and I had to replace it. Have installed tbird on new machine but cannot find the setting I need. I want the message preview pane to be on the bottom instead of on the right side of screen. I also need to know how to import my contacts from the old machine.
