突然、どこにもメールの送信ができなくなってしまいました。 受信はできます。 KDDIを使っていますが、問い合わせしましたが、サーバーに問題ありません。 Webメールでは送信できます。 Thunderbird側の問題のようです。 添付のようなメッセージが表示されエラーになってしまいます。 解決策を教えてください。

Suddenly, I can no longer send emails anywhere. I can still receive emails. I use KDDI, and I contacted them, but they said there are no issues with their servers. I can send emails using webmail. It seems to be an issue with Thunderbird. The message shown in the attachment appears, and I get an error. Please let me know how to fix this.

I would like to have a text label on or in place of the Get Messages icon in the tree header.

I found this suggested procedure: 1. Right-click on Toolbar 2. Select "Customize" 3. Select desired choice in "Button Style" 4. Select "Get Messages" 5. Click on Save

Nothing happens!

I asked this in alt.comp/software.thunderbird and received several conflicting replies, none of which resolved the issue.

Changed p/w as solution no help Today for some reason Thunderbird won`t download from xfinity. Worked well yesterday,been on phone with xfinity about 1 hr. or so. restart pc no help

I put the URL in there and it does not retain it and use it as signature image. It is a jpg. It browses in a URL on my browser and loads fine but T/B refuses to allow it.

Suggestions ?

I was trying to get an email to come back at a future date and I right clicked on the email and clicked on "tag" and entered a date. Then T-Bird suddenly eliminated all the dark printing on unread messages. Is tat reversible? I need to go back to many previously unread message, but they are no longer clearly marked.

Whenever I try to search my various emails for some text, at least 40% of the time it shows me the attached message. I'm on Version 149.0.1 but it's been happening ever since I installed Thunderbird (maybe 4 or 5 months ago?) My first move is to check that I haven't mis-spelled the word I'm looking for (which I usually haven't) and I definitely know that the word is valid for one or more emails. So why does this message keep appearing?

Previously I'd been running an old 32-bit version of Thunderbird (which I don't have installed any more) but I don't remember ever seeing this with the older version.

In my Thunderbird Profiles folder, I can drill down to ImapMail. I see multiple subfolders prefixed with my imap server name. eg:

- imap.server-5.com 10.85GB - imap.server-3.com 8.83 GB

and so on. The datestamp on each is different.

Within the two examples above is a large Inbox folder taking up ~8.8GB.

The size doesn't concern me as much as the fact of having two of these. I'd like to understand what Thunderbird is doing under the hood here. Does it create new imap.server-#.com folders periodically as backup/recovery folders?

I'd like to recover space where possible but if these are protective measures, I could live with that. However, if it creates future folders and replicates 8+GB of data multiple times, I'd like to know what steps I can take to free up disk space.

I was just notified that my email provider is ending service after 30 years. I need to move all my folders and messages from my old Provalue account to a new Gmail account. Is there an easy way to do this? Can I just change the account name and password as well as the server settings? They are both Pop3 accounts. I also need to point 131 message filters to the new Gmail account. Is there a way to do this without having to rewrite all of the filters? Do I need to copy all of the folders and messages to the new account manually? I have 30 years of emails that I still refer back to occasionally. I need help, what do I do? Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

Welche mögliche Ursachen gibt es dafür.

My email is very slow since I moved it to my new Dell laptop, sending, reading new messages, deleting and moving, NOT old messages. It was also slow on my old tower PC, but not this slow. I might leave Thunderbird if this continues. Not worth my time. Thank you!

Previous Colors add-on is apparently not him compatible with the most recent version of Thunderbird which installed itself in the last few days.

Does anyone know if it updates to that plug-in is anticipated?

If not, are there any similar add-ons available?

I accidentally moved a Google calendar notification to the spam folder 1 time and now I can't get TB to stop putting them in there. I reset the training data and created a message filter to catch them but they still automatically go into my spam folder. How do I get these messages to go to my inbox instead of spam?

I changed my email password on the providers web site, my phone, tablet both asked for the new password but Thunderbird has not, why can I still send and receive email ?

And don't see a place to change the server password either, I thought it would just ask.
