I am unable to log in to my BT internet mail account using Windows 10. I must clear history every time I try or change accounts. BT tell me they do not have a fault & the problem seems to be with my browser. Can you please help I did not have this problem in the past using Firefox. Many thanks Ken Robinson

Did I unknowingly change something, some setting? or perhaps it's due to an addon?

I have websites I frequent like Youtube and my email set to 'remember me' so I don't log back in every time I open Firefox. Recently, for some reason, whenever I close Firefox I am logged out of everything, and if I open it again I have to log back in to all the services I use.
Settings I think may be relevant to this issue:
I have not changed my account settings at all, and this problem has only cropped up in the past few days, leading me to believe it could be something to do with a new update? I'm no expert though, I just know this is driving me mad.

Well at least I think it did. Facebook has an issue with scrolling through the feed in my group. I don't know whether there's also a problem on the home feed and also one's timeline. The further one goes back, the more sluggish it becomes and it takes longer to display posts. I'm not sure whether this is a browser issue as I haven't tested on other browsers, or a problem with Facebook pulling stuff out of the drawers in its archives. Maybe it's a memory issue due to all posts needing to be loaded in memory so it's possible to go back up through the feed to the newest one. Anyway, it gets to the stage after going back through hundreds of posts over 6 months, FB stalls. So I tried clearing my history (I have this set to not clear cookies). I then closed FB and Firefox. When I started Firefox again, I had to agree to cookies and sign into all my social media accounts, Google accounts and also agree to cookies on sites I visit regularly. So obviously a glitch in the browser, causing many, if not all cookies to be deleted.

Can someone please help.. My passwords are saving. They auto fill...But before this latest version I had a few sites that I could ciIck on the bookmark and it would just open without having too log in.. I do have clear and delete cookies and history, but in previous versions these were in the exempt list so everything was saved. Would like that to still be in place both in private Firefox and normal.. This version has wiped out a lot of settings I assume I dont want to have to log in and go through check ups..Passwords and user details are there but not auto log in think there exception rule in previous version not sure where that is now

I use the default setting that all cookies be deleted when I shut down Firefox, and then hand-input dozens of exceptions. The Firefox update on November 11, 2025 -- and I didn't even click on install, I only downloaded it, then hesitated, being afraid that it costs me again hours to re-create what the update destroys, but Firefox went from download to automatic installation -- meant that Firefox wiped all cookie exceptions (list of cookies that are not deleted when I shut down Firefox). These exceptions are hours of work, and, additionally, every bank etc. now requires me to sign in and go through many-factor authentication anew. -- How do I restore the long list of cookie exceptions that the Firefox update just deleted?
+ The same update wiped all bookmark icons. My three dozen bookmarks in the bookmark toolbar now come with the 'globe' symbol rather than the bookmark-specific symbol, so I can't tell which bookmark is which. How do I restore the bookmark symbols that the Firefox update just destroyed?
