Can a recent update to Firefox prevent me from viewing my online bank statement? I never had this problem until July 4th.

The problem began July 4th when I clicked on the link to login to my online bank account, as well as my identity theft login. The pages are blank. The tab reads mail...LhFD710hmPg. I now have to go to Internet Explorer to complete this function. I never encountered this problem.
When I receive job updates from Indeed and click on the job title to read more of the description, the page is blank.

Reddit has worked correctly almost my entire three years on the site. I collapse the comments I read. Follow a link outside of Reddit or too another reddit page, and when I go back to the original comment page the comments are still collapsed.
Every once and a while this stops happening. I have had this problem a few times, and after everything I do it does not seem to be going away this time?
I use Revo Uninstaller and uistanll firefox. When I reinstall firefox reddit is back to keeping comments collapsed. Then I synced my profile which was set only to sync passwords and bookmarks and ad ons. I tried to not sync ad ons but I think I messed up somewhere. But the only ad on I have is AdBlock Plus. And the first time I resynced my profile today it was all fine.
The only thing I have used today is Vuze downloader, so I assumed I might have some kind of malware. But I ran HitmanPro and MaWareBytes and they each found nothing. MalWareBytes does continually show a blocked Azerus (Vuze manufacturer) site of some sort, which I don't quite understand.
Anyway, what in my Firefox profile could be causing this to continue happening?

My laptop#2: Running Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit, Windows Update all applied My browser: Firefox Beta 39.0
Steps I have taken:
My laptop#2 (Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit; Firefox Beta 39.0) however, after I ran flashplayer18_ha_install.exe I went back to Firefox Plugin Checker and Shockwave Flash is still pointing to 184.108.40.206.
I even went into Control Panel and uninstalled all Adobe executables. Then I installed fresh copy of flashplayer18_ha_install.exe and the program ran. However Firefox Plugin Checker still tells me that Flash Player is out-of-date. I restarted laptop#2 multiple times, cleaned my registry, and still no luck.
Since I have 2 laptops and one was successfully updated, the problem is due to either Adobe or Mozilla. It could be Adobe's problem if flashplayer18_ha_install.exe is not running properly in Windows 7 Professional. Or it could be Mozilla's problem if Firefox Plugin Checker is not pointing to the latest version of Flash Player I installed. Though there should not be any trace of old version since I did removed all Adobe executables from Control Panel. I must have deleted and reinstalled Flash Player at least 6 times. Your time looking into this problem is much appreciated.

My Firefox startup time became very slow all of a sudden. It went from 1-2 seconds to 8-10 from one day to the next. After troubleshooting I managed to find the culprit - it was something in my prefs.js file. Is someone willing to analyse this file to see what was causing the problem? I can upload it to a hosting service, but I would like to make sure it does not contain any personal or compromising data. For now I just deleted the file and lost some of my settings in the process, but it was the only way to fix the problem that I could find.
