You can use Private Browsing and visit such a website in a Private Browsing mode window.
Such details like a shopping cart are stored in a cookie, so you can clear the cookies from that website after you are done.
Note that in PB mode all cookies are session cookies that automatically expire if you close the PB mode session (window).
