I have to install Flash plugin every day

Ever since going to FF6 (I think - I'm not entirely positive when this started), every day when I start Firefox it seems to forget that Flash player is installed, and I have to install it again.

I'm running as administrator on the machine, and I use the built in "install missing plugin" to do the installation. It just never seems to _stay_ installed.

Before I install on any given day, there is no mention of Flash player in about:plugins, but after the install everything seems to be in order.
