An add-on I use (Tabliss) stores its settings locally, which causes them to be reset every time the browser is closed. Is there any way to keep “never save history” in the settings’ Privacy tab while exempting that one individual add-on from having its settings wiped?

HI, that would be better answered by the Developer of the Extension : https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/tabliss/ Note the Developer has a Home Page, Support Page and Support Email

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

No, that is not possible. When you use Private Browsing mode (never remember history) then no data is stored to the profile folder and local storage is disabled.

Let the cookies expire when Firefox is closed to make them session cookies instead of using "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the cookies.

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history" -> Cookies: Keep until: "I close Firefox"

You can create an "Allow" exception to keep specific cookies.
