Usually if Sync is enabled, Firefox will add a Mobile Bookmarks category to the Bookmarks menu displayed using the Bookmarks Menu toolbar button.

That's an optional button which looks like:

To add that button, either:

(A) Use the Customize panel (Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars) to drag the icon to the desired spot on the toolbar

(B) Use the method from Bookmarks in Firefox - section entitled: How do I add the Bookmarks Menu button to the toolbar?

  • Click the "Library" button:
  • Click "Bookmarks"
  • Click "Bookmarking Tools"
  • Click "Add Bookmarks Menu to Toolbar"

Does that help?

There also is a setting to hide the menu item. You could make sure that's not set:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste mobi and pause while the list is filtered

(3) If the browser.bookmarks.showMobileBookmarks preference is bolded and "modified" or "user set" to false, double-click it to restore the default value of true
