This addon goes with many different options, which I don't need. Also, it erases all my history. Is the another way not to hide tabs without addon?

Hence my advice to read   'About this Add-on'  first.

Would you give this a try :

Type in the address bar   about:config   (press Enter) (promise to be careful, if asked) Type and look for the preference : browser.fullscreen.autohide and set it's value to   false

Note that you do not need to use about:config. You can toggle this via the right-click context menu via Hide Toolbars on empty space on the Navigation Toolbar or the Tab bar.
