I have some add-ons, each time they shall update a new tab opens and I need to approve the installation. Is there any way to make add-ons update automatic in stead? I have chosen "update automatic at the add-on menu, but the tabs still comes up.

Is this for one add-on, several, many?

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions.

At the top right, press the 'gear' icon.
