Firefox keeps disappearing from my mac book pro. I have tried the "keep on doc" option yet it disappears completely even from the launchpad. please help

I have had to download it 3 times in the past 2 weeks.. and this keeps happening. I read other threads where people said that "keep on doc" solved their problem, but it doesnt seem to be working for me. Any other advice ?
